I'm an avid reader with a small, fine a not so small, obsession with tea and coffee. I have so many teas that I am able to sample several before the need to repeat the experience. But I have some favorite go tos. As an avid reader, I collect books to add to an ever growing TBR (to be read) list that I doubt can be completed in my lifetime. This includes the honest to goodness made from paper books and the zeros and ones ebooks.

I live in the real world most of the time, but once I'm seated with my hot tea (sometimes coffee, cream and sugar mind you) and a book, I'm immersed in whatever world those words bring me. I never even have to leave my comfy chair to experience these other worlds. These worlds don't even have to be about anyplace exotic and a fantasy world. I can be sucked into a book that is right in my own backyard. And by backyard I mean the planet Earth.

Characters are a big part of what makes a book so while I can go anywhere, I can also be anyone or anything. Hey, being a badass witch or vampire is just as awesome as being a simple young girl finding her way through the world and falling in love.

I read almost anything if it sounds good. That means it can be young adult or it can be on the total opposite side of the spectrum of dark erotica. I'm of the mind that reading should be an experience, so reading across the board opens the mind to various trains of thought. And a book can always be closed if the story isn't something one wants to experience. While I might love certain things, I understand that it might be a completely different experience for others.
